What is Autism
Autism is a lifelong neuro-developmental condition that some people are born with. It can impact people in different ways, how a person communicates with and understands others, how they form relationships, their ability to understand abstract concepts, and restricted or repetitive behaviour. They may often have sensory processing issues. It affects people in different ways, to varying degrees, depending on the circumstances which is why it is described as a spectrum disorder.

Social Interaction Clubs
Our social interaction groups provide weekly activity programmes for children and young people. Our staff and volunteers work with our social group members to encourage social interaction, communication, sensory integration and life skills.
We have music therapy, art therapy, play therapy and more. These promote social and communication skills, as well as mental and emotional growth. Come along and see our fantastically equipped music room. Visits from schools are also encouraged.
We have regular sessions for Parents and Toddlers (open to all parents and guardians of toddlers or pre-school children), counselling services, as well as monthly support groups and get-togethers for Parents, and Siblings.
